PFERD offers a wide range of coated and non-woven abrasive tools for face-down grinding, belt grinding, peripheral grinding, surface conditioning, polishing, and much more.
For universal grinding work on components made from aluminium, copper, bronze, titanium and fibre-reinforced plastics. Recommended for use on titanium alloys. Ideally suited to use in the aerospace industry, especially where SiC is the only approved brasive, e.g. for use on engine components.
RS type COMBIDISC abrasive discs are outstandingly well suited for weld dressing of backwardsrepair welds, e.g. in cases, slots and grooves on engines and for processing welded-oncombustor plates. Unlike on conventional abrasive discs, the abrasive coating is on the undersideof the tool, which allows backwards working.
