Amana 45762 AlTiN Coated V-Groove 90 Deg. Folding for Composite Material Panels Like TCM, CCM, ACM, 0.090 Tip Cut Width
The carbide cutting tip is brazed to a steel shank specially designed to cut grooves in composite building materials. These bits are widely used as cladding for many diverse applications such as office buildings, hospitals, convention centers, airports, hotels. Routing V-shaped grooves, whereby the steel cover and a part of the polyethylene core is removed, allows folding/creasing the remaining material by hand.
Designed for cutting and scoring steel sandwich materials including:
- Metal Composite Material (MCM)
- Steel Composite Material (SCM)
- Titanium Composite Material (TCM)
AlTiN coating has many benefits:
