Install by unscrewing the lower filter housing from the upper filter housing, and drain cock from the lower filter housing. Contains float assembly (H) that lifts off its seat to allow water to drain automatically as water accumulates in the bottom of the filter bowl. Warning: Make sure air pressure to filter-regulator is off prior to installation. Available for most filters except for Model 110146, 106148, and 106149. Part No. 127711 is available for Models 105148 and 106049. To install the drain, fully relieve system pressure, then remove the o-ring and bowl. Remove the drain from the bowl and replace it with the automatic drain. Reassemble. Referenced on page 13 of the manual for additional information. Part 127711 appears to be an alternative or related auto drain part.
