Flange-mounted and quick-clamp flange mounted agitators need shafts and blades. Recommended impeller blade diameter is generally determined by taking the inside dimension of the tank and multiplying by 0.35. Install the impeller so that the bent portion of the blade is on the leading edge when turning clockwise.
