This is the larger bearing (2) that goes on the end of the armature (D), with the machined groove facing toward the armature. The bearing legs must be aligned with each other and must not block the exhaust ports of the turbine alternator housing or the gun will not operate properly. Part 197906 is the smaller bearing (1) in the same assembly. This bearing is part of the Turbine Alternator Bearing Repair Kit (223688). It is item #2 in the kit with quantity 1. The kit also includes another bearing (197906), a fan (179397), and a spacer tool (180064).
