This appears to be a top coat pump kit for the HTX 2030 sprayer system. The kit is mentioned on page 8 and appears to be sold separately according to page 83 reference. Used for oil-based coatings, enamels, latex, block fillers, elastomerics, epoxies, drywall mud, and other high-build materials. Pump only runs when ON/OFF switch is in ON position and pump control is rotated clockwise away from OFF position. Pump control setting adjusts sprayer pressure - rotating knob fully clockwise allows sprayer to reach maximum working pressure. Pump runs whenever system pressure is below the setting of the pump control. Sprayer will not respond to Prime switch or Applicator switch when Top Coat pump is installed. Installation instructions found on page 70 under Displacement Pump section. This is a top coat pump kit that is sold separately. The manual page shows the component parts diagram but does not explicitly list which specific part numbers are included in kit 24B140. The parts shown in the diagram (401-433) appear to be the pump assembly components.
