GRACO 563161 - Automatic Relief Indicator for MX Divider Valves, 3000 PSI, MX only, 1/4 in NPTF

Automatic Relief Indicator designed to pinpoint lube line blockage while allowing the lube system to continue supplying lubrication to points that are not blocked. Used primarily in secondary divider valves, this performance indicator creates excessive pressure when line blockage occurs, moving a piston that enables lubricant to escape through a vent. When the blockage is removed, the spring resets the piston, allowing continuous system operation.

This is the highest pressure rated valve in the series and is required for use with the 571058/571070 pressure relief-to-atmosphere kits. Formerly identified by spring retainer color. Pressure ratings are now stamped on the body. If replacing indicators with pressure ratings no longer available, select available indicators with the next higher pressure rating. Separate pressure switch connection recommended for audible or visual alarm systems. This is an automatic relief indicator that pinpoints lube line blockage but allows the lube system to continue supplying lubricant to points that are not blocked. Used primarily in secondary divider valves. The excessive pressure created by line blockage moves a piston, enabling the lubricant to escape through a vent. When pressure is relieved the spring resets the piston. A separate pressure switch connected to an audible or visual alarm should be used to warn of high pressure. Color is provided for service and not in selection of replacement indicator.
