PFERD 44018 2" POLISTAR-TUBE A/0 240 Grit 4mm Bore, 6 Star Layers
PFERD offers a wide range of coated and non-woven abrasive tools for face-down grinding, belt grinding, peripheral grinding, surface conditioning, polishing, and much more.
POLISTAR-TUBE consists of multi-layered coated abrasive stars riveted together. They are designed specifically for working on the inner surfaces of pipes and pipe bends.
Engineered for use in pipes and pipe bends.
Materials that can be worked:
- Aluminium
- Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1,200 N/mm2 (over 38 HRC)
- Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS)
- Copper
- Other non-ferrous metals
- Soft non-ferrous metal
- Brass
- Steels up to 1,200 N/mm¬≤ (< 38 HRC)
- Cast steel
- Steel materials with a hardness over 54 HRC
- Steel, cast steel
- Annealed cast iron
Applications:
- Weld dressing
- Deburring
- Surface work
- Weld dressing
- Structuring (matt finishing, brush matting and satin finishing)
- Fine grinding in multiple steps
