The Simpson Strong-Tie ATRM is a tension transfer element for use in structural systems designed to resist seismic and wind forces, providing a continuous and reliable load path from roof to foundation. This fully threaded rod (all-thread rod) can be used within a continuous rod tiedown system for shearwall overturning restraint or an uplift restraint system for roofs. It can also be used for a variety of other applications including use as an adhesive anchor rod.
