Simpson Strong-Tie DIAST50P1 - Setting Tool 1/2" for Short Drop-In Anchors, Bagged
The drop-in anchor setting tool is designed for properly and consistently installing Simpson Strong-Tie Drop-In internally threaded anchors. Using the setting tool, drop-ins are installed by driving the expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until the shoulder of the setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor. Using a fixed-depth drill bit prevents overdrilling, which saves time and prolongs bit life.
