Simpson Strong-Tie GARC5-RP25 - Glued-In-Rod Adhesive Retaining Cap for 5/8" Threaded Rod 25ct
The GARC™ glued-in rod (GIR) adhesive retaining cap makes installation easier by restricting adhesive flow from the anchor hole. It also centers the rod in the hole to maintain proper anchor alignment. It may be necessary to provide support for the anchor during cure time depending on the level of fit-up precision required. The retaining cap is color-coded for each rod diameter. The GARC is required for Simpson Strong-Tie® Timber-SET™ installations performed in compliance with the code report.
