Simpson Strong-Tie cold-formed steel connectors are designed to provide the strength and performance required in every cold-formed steel (CFS) application. From hangers, holdowns and steel studs to hand-bendable framing members for creating curved walls on CFS jobsites, Simpson Strong-Tie offers a wide variety of sizes, materials and finishes for every project, big and small. The IDCB drift-clip connector is used to secure bypass stud framing to the edge of a slab. The connector will accommodate 1 in. of lateral drift in each direction and 1 in. of upward and downward vertical deflection. Tested for anchorage to a steel-edge angle using #12 x 1-1/4 in. Strong-Drive XL Large-Head Metal screws.
