Simpson Strong-Tie MDCST48 - 5-3/4" x 47-1/2" Galvanized Diaphragm Chord Strap Tie
Simpson Strong-Tie tested and load-rated tension straps and fasteners are designed to minimize cost and maximize speed and precision — while providing the strength, versatility and reliability you depend on. The MDCST48 is a 14-gauge high-capacity strap specifically designed to carry tension across a CLT floor or wall panel joint. The MDCST48 installs with Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws.

- Pre-punched screw holes speed fastener installation
- High capacity eliminates the need for expensive shop-fabricated steel plates
- Straps may be overlapped to reduce the physical space or footprint needed to transfer high loads across a panel joint
- Width: 5-3/4 in.
