Simpson Strong-Tie MSTAM36 - 36" 18-Gauge Galvanized Medium Strap Tie for Masonry

The Simpson Strong-Tie MSTAM is designed to resist tension loads in wood-to-masonry uplift applications. This medium strap tie is for use with either concrete or grout-filled concrete masonry units (GFCMU). The MSTAM utilizes a staggered nail pattern to help minimize wood splitting.

Straps are load rated with the correct thickness and number of fasteners, in contrast with field-fabricated straps
Loads have been increased for wind and seismic forces
Floor-to-floor clear span application
