The Simpson Strong-Tie PFUD post-frame under-saddle hanger is an innovative solution for post-frame construction. The PFUD hanger is designed to support ceiling joists with ease. To minimize the labor required for hanger layout, the connector is 2-sided so that one hanger supports ceiling joists on each side of a truss. Layout is further simplified by the continuous seat that fits snugly under the truss’ bottom chord, automatically aligning parts vertically for an easier, faster layout. The PFUD can also be adjusted for single-side applications by simply bending the hanger in the field and separating it along the perforations to create two face-mounted options.
