The Outdoor Accents® RPBPC retrofit post base is designed to reinforce existing posts and columns. The single, versatile model fits posts constructed from a double 2x4 or larger. It can also be used to reinforce post-base connections in carports, patio covers, decks and other structures. When installed with the CPS composite plastic standoff, the RPBPC meets a 1" post standoff code requirement. The RPBPC helps strengthen post-base connections to support resistance to both wind and seismic forces. ZMAX® galvanized steel with a black powder-coat finish provides superior corrosion resistance.
