Simpson Strong-Tie S/H3 Light Gauge Steel Hurricane Tie
The S/H2.5 and S/H3 are designed to resist seismic and wind forces in cold-formed steel applications. These single-sided hurricane ties form part of a continuous load path for both lateral and uplift loads. The S/H2.5 is made for moderate loads at the rafter/truss, while the S/H3 is made for moderate loads at the rafter/truss-to-top-track connection.

- Provide a connection between the rafter or truss and the wall of the structure
- Engineered to resist wind and seismic forces
- Can be used for a variety of connections where one member crosses another

Installation
- Use all specified fasteners
- Hurricane ties do not replace solid blocking
- S/H2.5 and S/H3 ties are only shipped in equal quantities of rights and lefts
