Simpson Strong-Tie TBP8 - Strong-Tie 8" Truss Barrier Plate 1ct.

The TBP8 serves as a moisture barrier between a truss and the top of a concrete or masonry wall. The truss bearing plate is installed on the truss prior to placement. The plate features three pairs of prongs in place of fasteners for quick and easy installation.

- Eliminates the need for higher-cost treated lumber
- Slightly narrower than 2x nominal lumber to avoid catching or pulling off
- Installation prongs designed to penetrate southern yellow pine (SYP) and other common types of truss lumber
- Made from 22-gauge steel
- Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance
