The U is designed for joist-to-header installation in wood-framed construction. This face-mount hanger is engineered for strength and provides easy installation. The U hanger is precision-formed and manufactured to the highest quality standards.

- The U series installs using several fastener selections with tested allowable loads

Installation
- Use all specified fasteners; see General Notes
- Joists sloped up to 1/4:12 achieve table loads
- When nailing into solid sawn carrying member's end grain, the allowable load is adjusted by a factor of 0.67
