Superior Tool 2750 - Emergency Gas and Water Service Shut-Off Wrench
Superior Tool's® Emergency Gas and Water Shut-Off Wrenches are a must-have for any plumber or homeowner. Gas leaks, plumbing leaks and natural disasters occur with little or no warning, be prepared to turn off your gas or water supply at the source. Multiple-sized slots are designed to fit most gas valves. Quickly address water emergencies by inserting the gas shut-off wrench onto the end of water wrench, creating a T-handle.

Instructions:
Water Shut-Off Instructions
1. Locate your water meter box (usually at the street or sidewalk). Remove cover to access the shut-off valve.
2. Insert gas shut-off bar onto water shut-off wrench. This makes a handle.
3. Use the Water Shut-Off Wrench along with the Gas Shut-Off Wrench to turn the valve 1/4 of a turn and shut off the water.
Gas Shut-Off Instructions
1. Locate the main gas shut-off valve next to the gas meter on the inlet pipe.
2. Use one of the slotted holes on the Gas/Water Shut-Off Wrench to fit over the shut-off valve. For industrial use, you may have to use the Water Shut-Off Wrench to fit a larger valve.
3. Turn the valve 1/4 of a turn to shut off the gas to the home.
WARNING! ALL PILOT LIGHTS IN AND AROUND HOME WILL GO OUT WHEN YOU TURN THE VALVE OFF. BE SURE TO CALL THE GAS COMPANY OR A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TO TURN THE GAS BACK ON AND TO RELIGHT ALL OF THE PILOT LIGHTS. DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF.
CAUTION: When testing your gas valve or the wrench, do not turn the main valve more than 1/8 of a turn to the right or left. If you do, your pilot lights will go out and will require a qualified professional to relight.
