The Wheeler-Rex 3790 Ratch-Cut is a ratchet action tubing cutter designed for fast, accurate cutting of 5/16" to 1-1/8" copper, mild steel, stainless steel, thinwall PVC, and CPVC pipe and tubing. Its wrench-style profile makes it especially effective in confined and hard to reach places where conventional rotary cutters can't swing.
Built with heavy-duty metal jaws and rugged all-metal construction, the 3790 features a replaceable cutter wheel for long service life. Operation is simple: tighten the knob to engage the cutter wheel, begin ratcheting, and continue turning the knob to further engage the wheel as the cut progresses.
