This is part of Pressure Relief Kit 238899 and appears to be a relief valve with fixed pressure setting Install valve between fluid inlet and outlet ports. Used to prevent overpressurization and rupture of the pump or hose. Thermal expansion of fluid in the outlet line can cause overpressurization when fluid lines are exposed to sunlight or ambient heat, or when pumping from a cool to a warm area.
